On Saturday, September 19,2009, Bailey House was featured as one of the sponsor organizations in collaboration with the Manhattan HIV Care Network at the annual East Harlem AIDS March and Health Fair. Over 20 agencies and 70 individuals living with or affected by HIV/AIDS slowly marched to 106th street and 125th street back to 115th Street and Lexington Avenue. Bailey House’s Key Award honoree, Melissa Viverito, marched along side staff to raise community awareness regarding testing and secondary prevention.  500 safe sex kits with Bailey House information were distributed.

Thank you to Co-chair of the Manhattan HIV Care network, Denise Arzola, who represented Bailey House alongside of Ric Gonzales, Malta Cirino and Bailey House clients.
