A big thank you to everyone who attended the Bailey House’s 30th Anniversary Auction & Gala on March 28th at Pier 60! We raised half a million dollars for our landmark programs this year. The evening was a great success, with inspiring presentations to our amazing honorees – Bingham McCutchen LLP, Alan Cumming, and Harlan Bratcher (President & CEO of A|X Armani Exchange) as well as more than 30 legendary activists and advocates from the early days of the AIDS epidemic. Touching tributes for each honoree were made by luminaries like Jane Pauley, Wendy Williams and Terrence Meck of the Palette Fund, and a spirited Live Auction was led by auctioneer George McNeely and the fabulous Alan Cumming. Special thanks to our sponsors, our Auction Item donors, our fantastic Auction Committee, and of course everyone who bid the night away and made a gift to Support a Bailey House Family. If you didn’t have a chance to join us or would like to make an additional donation, it is never too late to Support a Bailey House Family! Please click here to make a contribution.
Through generous sponsorships, bidding wars and celebrity buzz we have raised over $15 million dollars since our inaugural event. All proceeds from the Auction & Gala go directly to providing critical housing and supportive services for homeless men, women and children living with HIV/AIDS and other chronic illnesses.
