Housing for Young Adults Expanded

Our landmark STARS (Success Through Accessing Rental Assistance and Support) housing program has expanded to include new apartments for transgender youth.  Bailey House is humbled by those who have made these new apartments possible, and excited to have the opportunity to serve new communities in continual commitment to our mission.

STARS II is a unique supportive housing program targeted towards homeless, transgender young adults who are 18-24 years of age.  While priority is given to applicants who are HIV positive but not eligible for HASA (HIV/AIDS Service Administration) assistance, non-positive applicants are accepted.  Program participants will be provided with an array of psychosocial support which includes: comprehensive HIV case management, health care coordination, access to mental health and substance abuse programs both on-site and in the community, individual supportive counseling, vocational counseling referrals, independent living skills management, access to our program food pantry and a computer lab.
