ART HOUSE 2025
Our COVID-19 Response
When it became clear we needed to respond to COVID 19, Housing Works and Bailey House moved as many staff as possible to remote work. 100% remote work however is not feasible for everyone when you operate over 250 units of congregate housing. So, at those locations we have residential aide staff still providing 24-hour coverage and have at least one case management provider on-site during normal business hours. In addition to their normal role, residential aide staff are screening all residents, staff, and vendors at these locations. For the safety of our residents and staff at these sites, we are not allowing visitors.
Meet Executive Director, Andrew Coamey
Upon the merger of Bailey House and Housing Works in early 2019, Andrew Coamey was appointed the new Executive Director of Bailey House. Andrew has been an AIDS activist and an outspoken advocate for the rights of homeless and formerly homeless people living with HIV/AIDS for more than 25 years. Andrew oversees the development and operation of all housing programs at Bailey House, which includes administration of nearly 700 units of housing serving more than 800 people. He is currently directing the development of 250 additional units of supportive housing and plans to announce the first housing development project for Bailey House in 2020.
